I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU tiene alojamiento con aire acondicionado en Nochchiyagama. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. Las habitaciones son enormes, nuevas y con un porche a un jardín, el trato fue encantador, la comida muy rica y la ayuda al organizar el safari fueron de 10, volvería sin lugar a duda.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort está ubicado en Habawewa, a 39 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 39 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Ofrece bicicletas gratis, jardín y wifi gratis. The property is right outside the national park. Very convenient, and the room is super neat, the dinner we had was delicious, and wholesome! The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating (the wife made beautiful omelette upon our special request for dinner). The owner’s son guided us on a half day safari trip. We had a wonderful experience - beautiful family!!

Kalhara is the perfect host , highly attentive and thoughtful about every small detail. The rooms are spacious, with a minimal aesthetic, well maintained and super clean. Every meal was a lovely home cooked spread, accommodating certain dietary restrictions . One of the best stay experiences I had during my two week trip in Srilanka.

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

The guest room upstairs is very spacious and tidy. The balcony is a lovely place to chill out in the evening. The host’s cooking is fabulous. We had both breakfast and dinner and throughly enjoyed it. We also had our laundry done promptly. We parked our rented tuk tuk safely in the front garden of the Sweet Home. All was sweet and sound! A really nice place with a beautiful family that is caring about their guests a lot! The rooms are big and clean, the shower as well as the AC was really good! Also the pool was clean and refreshing :) The breakfast and dinner was amazing and different every day - really worth it. We got a little cold and the whole family cared so much for us, even made a fresh veggie soup and didnt even charge for it! Thank you Mama Anuradhapura and family 🧡
