Excellent location, great views from the balcony and a great host! The location is not in central Amalfi town but up the hill, a 15-20 mins bus ride away in Pogerola. The location is quiet and relaxing with stunning views. The room is nicer than in the photos, sparkling clean. The host was amazing and was super helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again!

This property is absolutely stunning. It’s located just outside of town (10 minute walk) and is perched high above everything with a beautiful view. The infinity pool is great to lounge in while drinking a glass a rose and eating the homemade bruschetta from the resort. Romeo, the host, goes above and beyond for his guests. From the minute our train stoped in Salerno he was there to help guide us to the resort. He went above and beyond for us. He is by far the BEST host we have ever had. If I could give him and his property a 15/10 I would! Thank you Romeo

The staff were extraordinarily kind, helpful, hard working and professional. My room was spectacular —perhaps the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. The views were amazing, the whirlpool was phenomenal, and the terrace with fruit tress was a treat. The breakfast was also first rate.

It's not easy to get there by public transportation, but it's in a good location for hiking the Path of the Gods. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the terrace has a great view. The owner kindly checked on us via WhatsApp to see if we needed anything.

Every part of the hotel is tastefully and authentically restored, preserving the soul of the place while offering modern comfort. But what truly sets Residenza Amalphia apart are the wonderful people behind it – Giovanna, Gerardo, and their father. I’ve traveled extensively over the years, but I can sincerely say I have never experienced hospitality quite like this. Giovanna and Gerardo welcomed us not just as guests, but as family. They were always kind, present, and incredibly helpful – whether it was sharing the best local tips, helping us plan our daily adventures, or just taking a moment to check in and chat. Their care and warmth turned our trip into something truly unforgettable. And let’s talk about the breakfast – every morning was a delightful surprise. Alongside the classics, we were treated to a new homemade cake or pastry each day, always fresh, always delicious, and always served with a smile. Staying at Residenza Amalphia felt like staying in someone’s beautiful historic home, filled with love, history, and heart. If you’re planning a visit to the Amalfi Coast, do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s more than just a place to sleep – it’s a place to connect, to feel at home, and to experience the true soul of Amalfi. We can’t wait to return.
