The hosts were so kind, the rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the location was outstanding. Puffin Lodge is situated steps from a private beach and around the corner from Fintra Beach and not too far from Donegal Town or attractions such as Slieve League. The optional continental-style breakfast was lovely as well! Highly reccomend Puffin Lodge, you will not regret it!

It is located right in the middle of Donegal which makes excursions in every direction just about the similar length. One thing must not go unmentioned, it is Patricia’s Irish breakfast. Could not recommend the lookout enough. Views are spectacular. Location is perfect, a short drive from Ardara and centered in Donegal. Hosts are SO kind, making splendid breakfast, giving advice on area and putting everyone at ease. The property has all the details, the heating blankets, little shoe cupboard, amenities, snacks, beers…., will be recommending this place for life!!!! Huge 10/10. Run there!!!

A wholesome and delicious breakfast that set us up for the day.
