We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants está ubicado en Padang, a 13 minutos a pie de Playa Air Manis, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín,... El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.

Jhony is a very friendly guy and a very knowledgable and experienced guide. We will definitely return someday to do a longer trek!

Property was clean and overlooked the river view. My stay was excellent, and I also booked the jungle trek with them. It was absolutely amazing, and it was their own business. So it was a small group. Ricky and Anto were great with taking care of us. You should really try this activity! It’s very very worth it, and rest assured you are in good hands.

Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Nice and clean accomodation. Quite near to the bus station, placed in calm environment of rice fields away from the noise of motorbikes.

La habitación era muy limpio, cómodo y simplemente idílico. Además tenía una ducha medio-fuera de lluvia muy agradable. Borja y Yuyun son muy amables y atentos! Además de darnos un montón de tips para cosas que hacer en la isla nos consiguieron un pastel para celebrar el cumpleaños que hizo nuestra estancia una verdadera pasada! Gracias!!

The location is a perfect base for jungle trekking but the best thing is the incredible staff and the amazing food. I’m genuinely sad to leave and it feels like I’m leaving my home. Everyone works so hard to make it a fabulous experience. Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe está ubicado frente al mar en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín y una terraza. Las habitaciones tienen patio con vista al río. Beautiful place in the jungle! We stayed here before and after our jungle hike and if was lovely! They had great breakfast and a delicious family style dinner in the communal area which we loved.
