Hotel Casa Perico está ubicado en Río Dulce, a 15 km de Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, y tiene un jardín, un restaurante, un bar y wifi gratis. The hotel is in the middle of the jungle which makes it really beautiful. You can explore everything by kayak (they are free), there is a swimming platform in the river and there are a lot of hammocks and seating areas in the hotel to just enojoy yourself. Although it's remote you can easily reach the town of rio dulce by boat which the hotel staff can arrange for you. The staff is really friendly and helpful - knowing spanish makes your life a lot easier, but some speak english or even german. You can get everything from water to food at the hotel. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean, there are mosquito nets over the beds and the fan is really powerful. Very good value for money!

Hostal Blood Moon está ubicado en Río Dulce, a 4,9 km de Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, salón compartido y una terraza. Super awesome host. Very accommodating and helpful! Included complimentary simple breakfast - pancakes, banana, and coffee freshly made. I arrived with a car so needed a parking space. The parking was available. No issues there. Bed was comfy and clean.
