The Hotel 4 Winden is a really lovely family hotel / guest house in the village of Windhagen. The quality of the rooms and fittings is absolutely top class. Beautifully clean and comfortable with lovely little features in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Frau Höfer was extremely helpful via telephone and email in giving me directions for accessing my room key, as I arrived on the May Day public holiday. I enjoyed a lovely German breakfast, of fruit, yoghurt, wonderful German bread rolls, meats and cheese, topped off with freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Extremely convenient for my business meeting at Wirtgen Group, just up the road. I highly recommend this hotel.

Can get quite busy as food is excellent, so best to have a dinner reservation for the restaurant.

It was as if I was the first guest in the room. A great place to rest on the road. The soft sound of the bell at 9am makes the place feel extra homely. Thank you!

We stopped at the hotel for one night on our way to the Netherlands. The hostess, an elderly woman, was extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were spacious and clean. There are plenty of activities and places you can visit in region.
