Location was a concern when we booked it, but actually it's 25 mins to Dresden and equally close to all top hiking locations. In general, compared to other options in the area feels like a great value for the money.

The location was perfect for hiking. I came by public transport and found that I did not need a car to get around. I was able to walk just a few meters and I was on a hiking trial. But take note of the bus timetable if you want to go further, they are not very frequent. The breakfast was amazing and there was even enough food left over to create a sandwich for lunch on my hike. The restaurant food was also delicious and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was peaceful and the perfect atmosphere for a back to nature, hiking trip.
