Great place with the best Beach Bar ever! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even repaired my shoes! Snorkeling gear free of use. Beautiful arranged area. A lot of love for this place! I would definitely come again!

Experience how the local live is what we are looking for. Nice Place and Clean. Taste fresh fruit and fabulous breakfast. Feel like home. Easy to go everywhere in the island, especially if you rent a motorbike. The owner is very kind and she will help you everything. My seven years old daughter like this place too. Recommended. ^___^

It was our second time in here and we were happy as before. Good value for money, cozy and quiet place, super awesome staff, tasty and cheap food. Highly recomend!

Scooter rental WiFi Friendly and helpful staff

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Silent spot in the jungle. Matteo is very attentive, helpful and friendly host. Very rich breakfast. Beach and fisherman's village in 2 minutes by motorbike. Motorbikes are directly available with the house.

Exellent host. You can rent a scooter also. Peaceful and quiet place to rest. And see all the island. Host made every morning differend breakfast, tasted Great!

Jay the owner was amazing, he helped us with all our inquiries, very friendly, the place is in a very close beach and a restaurant right on the corner, the place was very spacious and comfortable.

Great locality maybe 100m from the beach. Great restaurant nearby. I absolutely loved hammock on the patio, I was there anytime I could. Bathroom has only cold water but its not so cold and you are in tropical paradise so its not a problem to have a little bit colder shower. Bed is comfy with mosquito net so you are safe during night from insects. There are also towels provided and room has a fan even tho I didint need that in October when its not too hot outside. It has some shelves inside so you can put small things there that is useful. Broom is also provided so you can clean floors from the sand. Great place if you dont mind occational lizzard, spider, snail or cockroach in the bathroom. If you want to have beach atmosphere without modern luxury like AC and live one with nature this is amazing. Beware od the mosquitos, there is a lot of them everywhere around. Owner is very friendly and lets you use his kitchen and fridge if you want. Its nice and quiet during night you only can hear nature and animals around you. I would love to stay there again if I ever come back to Ko Chang.
