I had a wonderful stay here. The Misfah Heritage house is beautiful. The location, the food and our host Hamed were all excellent. The host sat with us after dinner to talk about the history of the village. I would definitely come back to this place.

As all the other reviews state , the owner Ahmed is very obliging and a really nice guy.. He shared our meal with us and it was great talking to local who was born and raised in the village. It is a very old building that has all you need for a comfortable stay. the breakfast and dinner were tasty and plentiful and served on the terrace with an amazing view overlooking the valley and the palm trees. The premises is very close to the car parking area of the town making getting your luggage to and from the car a breeze. Be aware that most of the other accommodations in town are a fairly steep walk down into the "village " proper. getting to some of the other accommodation will require you to lift you bags as the paths are not even and have steps. The walks around town are stunning and if you have the time recommend a visit to Al Misfah

The location is fabulous, rooms are clean and comfortable. The price is inclusive of dinner, breakfast and a guided tour of the family museum. There was a good spread for both meals. The dining area has fabulous views and comfortable seating, both down on cushions or on tables. The museum tour is brilliant and gives a deep insight of the life, joys and struggles faced in the past.

Love, love, love! From the second I walked in it felt like meeting old friends. The staff is exceptional. The room was spacious and had a gobsmackingly awesome view (even though I had the ground floor room) . Dinner and breakfast was delicious with lots of variations. The little village is a quick 5 minute walk away and has great corners to explore (don't miss out on the scenic 30 min hike to the spring) This is the perfect place to relax and wind down! ♥️

The location is great. The room is spacious and clean. Beds are vertly comfy. The shared kitchen was available to prepare tea/coffee/light breakfast. Drinking water was provided. The owner of the place is friendly and guided us well on hoelw to arrange our activities. He also helped to arrange transfer from/to Muscat. We had a beautiful terrace with the view of the oasis farms and old village. The entrance to the walking path inside the farm area was nearby and we had a great walk to reach the old village.

Misfah Old House is located in the middle of the old village of Misfat Al Abryeen in Sultanat. It offers traditional accommodations and serves Omani cuisine cooked by local families.

All you can want out of a stay in the old part of Al Hamra, a superb mix between traditional and a modern touch. I highly recommend Mountain View for staying a few days in the area, it’s totally worth it, from the look and feel of the place, to the big terrace and the extremely friendly staff!

All super nice. Very beautiful building in the old town. Very friendly host who makes sure you feel home. There are two amazing dogs, the food is home cooked and incredible. You eat with the other guests and will get to know them

The inn was of mud brick and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The location was great, near a deserted mud brick village and a date plantation. It was a short walk into town. From the Inn it’s a short drive to Misfah La Abriyyin, which is definitely worth a visit.
