Wow! what a beautiful place to stay on our first night in Sri Lanka! Everything about the Mango House gardens was beautiful. The accommodation was spotless, food was delicious and Kenath was such a kind and welcoming host!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Fun Whales hotel in Negombo, and we had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, the owner and his family warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. Our room was comfortable and clean with all the necessary amenities, and the hotel's location was ideal for exploring Negombo's attractions, including the beach. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious sri lankan breakfast.

My partner and I had the best stay at Star Canal Cottage. After receiving a great tuk tuk tour around Negombo from Leon at the start of our trip, we stayed at his guesthouse before our departure too due to his friendliness and consideration. Our room very clean, spacious and light, with a powerful hot shower in the bathroom. The location is great, close to the city centre with restaurants nearby, but down a quiet canal road to enjoy the peace. We read and listened to the birds on the terrace during the day, while drinking home made lime juice before an excellent dinner of home-made prawns from Leon. A wonderfully kind, funny, and diligent host (and now friend), we will recommend Star Canal Cottage to anyone wishing to visit Sri Lanka :)

The owners Deb and Joseph are amazing people, so welcoming and ready to help with anything. They made me feel at home right away. The villa is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. Loved my room with a high ceiling and an air conditioner. Beautiful relaxing outdoor area by the pool. Location is no more than ten minutes to the beach. Complimentary shuttle service to or from the airport. Deb and Joseph offer transfers and lots of great day tours.

The hosts Jenifer and Roy are extraordinarily kind people and helped us a lot with organizing trips, giving restaurant recommendations, etc. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. The house is not far away from the beach and it‘s in a quiet neighborhood, so there is no traffic noise. Definitely recommendable!

Nice room, simple, clean and comfortable.The location is great if you have a flight to catch: we stayed there on our arrival in Sri Lanka and booked it again on our departure. The family who runs this guest house is very nice, helpful and honest. They were a great help for us.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse with a pool and delightful hosts. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge for the rest of our journey. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book accommodation here again on our way back. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was great, and we appreciated being able to purchase water, drinks, and snacks. The pool was a refreshing oasis that rejuvenated us. The owners are fantastic hosts, and we highly recommend this place.
