I came here for 3 days but because of their delituos breakfasts stayed for a week ) Loved the cleanliness around the house, hospitality of the staff, location, adequate cost, well actually I loved everything. They have filtered water inside, nice small outside swimming pool and garden. Stores and restaurants are on walking distance. Next time I am in Sri, will definitely come back here.

Nice and very clean room. Great location, right next to the main bus and train station. Beach within short walking distance. Roshan was very friendly and even helped us to organise a taxi transport to the airport. We highly recommend his place.

Villa Gamini was one of the best places we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The owners were very welcoming, the rooms were big and clean, beds very comfortable and the location was only a 5 minute walk from the main street. Would 100% recommend this place!

Weleges Place is a small family run hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed chatting with them. They offered to walk us to the train station to help find it, made me herbal tea when I wasn’t feeling well, and organised transport to the airport. Breakfasts were delightful with something different offered for each morning of our four-day stay. The rooms are spacious, modest and nicely decorated. The bathroom is also very spacious and modern. Most of all, the building and gardens are beautifully maintained. We were glad we stayed here. It’s also on a quiet side street away from the main road and traffic. Just a short walk over to the beach and close to the main snorkelling area.

The location was great, just a 2 minute walk away from the beach and lots of restaurants around. But keep in mind that the hotel is right next to the railway tracks so you can hear trains from time to time, what however didn't bother me :) the room also comes with a nice and spacious balcony. The host always tried to make our stay as good as possible and is very helpful.

Nestled within a tropical garden, the beautiful villa provides an outdoor swimming pool with free WiFi access, just steps from the beach. Villa Dineha is located about 200 metres from Hikkaduwa Beach....

Excellent clean, fresh, large room with comfy bed and good shower (actually had a shower curtain, which made a nice change!). Large communal area with a two-ring burner, fridge and kitchen equipment, which was really handy for making breakfast. Train was noisy when it passed by, but we got used to it, and they don't seem to run at night. Close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Host was very friendly and we wish her well in her new venture.
