We spent two fantastic days with Dhammika and his beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. Nestled among the sprawling tea plantations on the edge of the reservoir, the villa was simple but very comfortable, with a lovely view of the rolling green hills. Throughout our stay, Dhammika was a massive help, even driving us to the foot of Adam’s Peak in his tuk tuk at 1:30am and then showing us the various waterfalls and tea factories. He was a fount of local knowledge, and the breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife and mother-in-law were delicious! Thank you, Dhammika!

Our stay was perfect! The greatest experience in Lanka. It was like at home, the family was so nice, took care of us, and were so kind and helpful. Had the most amazing stay, the family was so lovely and beautiful. They gave me amazing Sri Lankan food and tea. The place is very quiet and has a beautiful tea garden out the back, they provide natural home grown tea. I had an amazing stay at Heaven Hills Guest House! The location is perfect, just a short distance from Maskeliya city centre, which makes it easy to enjoy the city's attractions while being in a peaceful and serene environment. The rooms are Basic but incredibly clean and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax. The hot water in the bathroom has great pressure, which was a nice touch. The Owner 'Namal' was absolutely fantastic-very friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with anything. He arranged everything perfectly and provided extraordinary support whenever necessary. The place is quiet and calm, and the mountain and tea field view from the property is simply stunning. After Adams peak hiking we did the gartmore falls tour with owner's Brother 'Tharaka' which was incredible experience, They also offer Dinner and breakfast, which was delicious. I highly recommend Heaven Hills Guest House, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. It’s a great place to stay with top-notch service!

The room cleanliness and the bed comfort with clean sheets. All rooms have balconies with sitting area and mountains view. All rooms have a private bathroom and shower with water heater. The gentleman and his wife working there were very kind and helpful and will facilitate your stay. The food portions they served are enough for at least 2 people. The morning herbal soup is refreshing, and the dhal curry is the tasties I've ever had. Mostly, I enjoyed the view of the mountains and the tea gardens with the birds chirping in the morning. No room has AC, but you can always open the balconies doors and let the cold, fresh breeze circulate in. Temperature at night reaches 15 deg C.

Hamantha is a wonderful owner. He will provide you with insights and guide you to the best places! His English is very good which makes it easy to have conversation about any topic. The Homestay has a 20 year old guess book with National Geographic in it. I had my own bathroom and enough privacy. just a tip: make sure to take the 2nd blanket that you are being offered. Sometimes in the night it can get cold.
