I liked my room but the lighting was a bit harsh and I didn't find a hook for my bath towel. I would have liked a softer bed and the linens were tucked in so that they didn't reach up to cover my shoulders so that is an easy fix. I would have liked a door between the bathroom and bedroom. I loved the proximity to the Duomo and shopping and taxi stand but the taxis have no place to wait for you right at the building and one that Dario called for me just drove by and stopped far down the street and picked up someone else before I could get to him. I went to the taxi stand in front of the Duomo instead which has a lot of taxis. Dario and Mateo were great. As a woman traveling alone I do prefer to stay in places that have someone available to let me in at all hours in case I stay out late but that was not an issue on this visit. The shower worked great and had good pressure and hot water. The towels could be softer. The pillow was a bit hard so one hard and one soft would be nice. I loved the automatic shades. I was thrilled to have YouTube available and English-speaking tv.

The property is great value for money in every way. The icing on the cake is that Elena is the best host ever. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and ensured our stay was pleasant. The property is a stone's throw from the tram station and has plenty of options for dining nearby as well.

Location was excellent. Fontana Rooms 16 situated in a lovely courtyard just off a quiet street with cafes and restaurants nearby. About twenty minutes walk to the Duomo. The accommodation itself is an eclectic mix of functionality, comfort and - what Italians do best- style! The property features a tastefully decorated communal salon , unexpectedly leading to a beautiful patio garden . Our bedroom had stylish decor, a very comfortable bed , en suite with all amenities, again, very nice. Our host, Alberto, is very affable and always available to respond to any query or request. We were here for a two-night stay and would return again. Beautiful. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect and our room very comfortable. Alfio could not have been more helpful and assisted us in finding lost luggage as well as finding restaurants at unsociable hours and making helpful recommendations. We cannot recommend Crossing Manzoni highly enough!

This room was the best one, we’ve had in Italy! It was exceptionally clean, cozy, warm, sunny and in a quiet place. Both hosts are very kind people, we also had a small gift from them, they explained everything and gave us advises about Milan. There is a small garden in front and a very close bus stop, which makes the apartment a top location. Definitely will visit again! :)
