Kast Guesthouse is a good place to stop for an overnight between scenic locations. They have a small eating place where breakfast and dinner is served. Dinner was limited to 3 options but it was fantastic options. Breakfast selection was also very good.

Idyllic! They are little cottages at the base of the mountain. View is espectacular. Eat at the place, the food is cooked by the family: local, homemade and delicious. 10 mins from seal viewing and about 30 from Snæfellsjökull National Park.

    The guesthouse is situated in a beautiful area which has relatively few choices for accommodation. The hut we stayed in was fine. There is a shared kitchen with a seating area.

    The guesthouse is located closed to the road, in a good spot to observe the northern lights. The windows facing north are very helpful. There is a hot tub on each terrance, where the guest might hop in to observe the northern lights or the nearby ocean coast (by day). The 3-room apartment was spacious and at a very good price.

    Location nicely located off the highway with a view of the ocean was nice. Beds were comfortable, and there was a large eating area in our guesthouse.

    A beautiful place located near the main road. Thanks to the fact that the hostess warned us in advance that there were no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, we took all the necessary food with us.

    Great location in a beautiful place. A small cabin with lots of privacy. It's a self check-in hotel, so a late check-in is acceptble and you can travel with no pressure. Very good price for Iceland in the summer. Also, there's a cat :)
