It is hard to put into words, but my stay at Veli Guest House exceeded all my expectations. Vakho and family have created such a friendly, open, welcoming atmosphere, in a beautiful home, surrounded by a gorgeous farm and garden they have cultivated themselves. The breakfasts and dinners are incredible, and they put such care into the details of the stay and your comfort as a guest. I also partook in the local wool artisan tour that they offer, which was an amazing, hands-on experience that I would recommend to anyone. They also helped me coordinate complicated logistics as I traveled to and from Tusheti, really going above and beyond with their responsiveness and kindness. I felt very comfortable staying at the Veli Guest House as a solo traveler, almost as if I was a part of their family. I will definitely be staying again.

The owners are very friendly and versatile. They agreed to accept us late in the evening after our car broke and we had nowhere to stay (we booked after 9pm). The property is tidy and beautiful - both the garden and the rooms are a pleasure to be in. Breakfast was great - a wide selection of tasty dishes. Definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed for one night and arrived very late. We asked to prepare a dinner beforehand so that we could eat after the trip. The food was ready, delicious! Enjoyed our stay here. Clean and tidy, fresh air. The hosts are very lovely women :)

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Portions were huge. I have never eaten such delicious khinkali. The host was attentive, asking us every minute if we needed anything. The host provided us with coffee, tea, juice, fruit for free. The yard was exceptionally beautiful. Thank you for everything❤️❤️❤️

To sum it up - I've travelled to over 50 countries and this may be my top accomodation that I've ever stayed at. The space was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Couldn't fault the room and we really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the evening. It was close to all attractions within Telavi. Ira (the host) was kind and helpful, she helped organise activities and made my birthday extremely special as she organised a cake and small present. Its an experience I will remember for a long time. The food was delightful, each breakfast felt like a home cooked meal. I'd also really recommend her khinkali! Overall, couldn't fault it and would recommend this to anyone. We will definitely be coming back to stay if we're ever in the region again.

This guesthouse was one of our stops during our road trip through Georgia, and although we faced some unexpected situations during our stay, we truly appreciated the way the hosts handled everything with care, generosity, and professionalism. The family who runs the place is warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making their guests feel welcome. We were greeted with a glass of the owner’s own organic wine — a delicious and personal gesture — and had the pleasure of taking a bottle home with us, which made our experience even more special. The room we stayed in was spacious and beautiful, just as described. The entire property was clean and well maintained, with a lovely terrace and a peaceful patio that offered a perfect space to unwind. The location is also great, with easy access and private parking — a huge plus when traveling by car. Very kind host that was present and helpful at all times. Reminded me of a very old friend of mine. They don't come like this anymore. Location is very central at the same time secluded and calm. Perfect combination.
