From start to finish our visit was amazing. Rina and Ian are lovely hosts who are both incredibly hard working. The property is well kept from inside and out with a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door to when you leave. Excellent hotel, great location. Staff go above and beyond to cater to everyone’s needs. Very clean and rooms lovely and comfortable. Good in the restaurant is amazing, definitely recommend.

Very nice and comfortable house in a wonderful country location. The ladies were very helpful in suggesting what to visit and some pubs to have the dinner. Amazing view from the spacious room window. Full english breakfast was perfect. Hope to come back again and stay longer. We heartily recommend it.

Beautiful location in the middle of the national park. Very tranquil and a lot of great walks nearby. The room was nicely decorated with high standards, comfortable, spotless clean and it was nice to have a wardrobe to store your luggage. The bathroom had a great shower and came with fluffy towels!! The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty with many choices. We also had plenty of milk, juice, yoghurts, cereals, tea & coffee in the room. The owner Richard was friendly and easy to communicate with. He is also very knowledgable of the area and gave us great recommendations. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay here, our host Hannah was lovely and the location just perfect. Our room overlooked the green and river across the road, there was a pub at the end of the street a short stroll away as well as an icream shop next door and a tea room. It is a lovely village in a lovely spot and is perfect for exploring either by foot or the surrounds by car. Our room was comfortable and breakfast delicious.

Ashfield House was beautiful accomodation. Located in the centre of the village, but very quiet. Everything about it was high quality and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. You cannot go wrong choosing to stay at Ashfield House.
