I cannot recommend Naze's Hus enough. Not only is it the perfect location for exploring the glorious surroundings, it is also simply the perfect place to stay. There is the friendliness and eloquence of the staff, the quality of the rooms, the unique and cosy atmosphere through the use of only natural materials. But equally the quality of the kitchen is just wonderful, be it for dinner or the freshly made breakfast each morning. Naze's Hus is simply a first choice when staying in the Bregenzer Wald and especially in Mellau. You will not be disappointed!

Completely renovated in 2016, the Schtûbat is located in the village of Andelsbuch in the Bregenz Forest.

The breakfast was delicious. Prepared with much love. The breakfast was very tasty and lovingly prepared. A very varied selection of cheeses, cold meats, eggs to order, fruit, yoghurt, müesli, honey etc. The hosts were very friendly and replenished the buffet constantly. Freshly brewed coffee, newspapers and the daily weather forecast too. They served us with humour and made us feel very welcome. Parking available directly on the premises.

We stayed at Lisas for a total of 5 nights in the Familienzimmer. It was a very pleasant experience: the rooms are decorated in a simple but modern and practical way - they were also quite spacious and impeccably clean. Dorothea was so friendly, sweet and helpful to us. Upon our arrival she gave us useful information about the local services and restaurants, and a map with routes for hiking, which made our planning process so much easier since it was our first time in this beautiful region! Every morning we had breakfast at Lisas, which was so varied, fresh and delicious, before going off for a hike around the area. The landscape in Bregenzerwald was breathtaking. There are so many hiking options, and despite the neighbouring villages being quite small, there are plenty of options for trying the local food and drinks, as well as supermarkets and other services, even in the summer. In a nutshell, we had such a lovely stay and would love to come back sometime!

A wonderful place to stay! The rooms are clean and cozy, and the balcony offers an amazing view. The hostess is very welcoming and kind, always ready to help and give useful advice. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We were lucky to experience a local celebration in this charming town — the atmosphere was truly joyful and unforgettable.
