Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. Only a short walk from the station and we were in our spacious, comfortable room with a view of the Matterhorn.. The bed was very comfortable and shower was good. The staff at reception were very friendly. The helped us by printing out the tickets when we had to book a train online. The young South American in charge of the kitchen was very friendly and looked after us well. There was a great range of hot and cold breakfast items. This was our third time staying here. It just gets better each time!!

The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. Excellent location and great staff! Enjoyed our stay and totally worth it. Fantastic view from our room, sat down in the balcony to stare at Matterhorn for hours. Great spread of breakfast to start your day! If you are in Zermatt, this is the place you should stay!

It comfortable for us with family and two kids. We reached this property little late. Google address pointing slight deviated location, but it is just behind it. The information provided by the host, worked well. Parking is in front of the property, can park even in open area near by. Very friendly host.

From the moment Phillipe picked us up from the parking area we felt special! Our room was beautiful - clean and modern with everything we needed ! The balcony was lovely to sit on and look at the beautiful view! We loved walking through the woods to get to saas fe! The breakfasts were made to order and delicious. Beautifully presented. We ate a lA carte dinner one evening at the hotel and we are still talking about it! And they split all of our entrees up for us. We can’t say enough great things about this hotel. We can’t wait to come back ! Stay here when you come to saas fe!

They’ve also got new electric bikes which are free to use during your stay ! The staff are very polite and helpful, they’ve got their own free porter service waiting for you at the train station upon arrival, and they also drop you back in their electric vehicles back to the train station during departure. I’d highly recommend this to hotel if you’re staying in zermatt.
