Very comfortable tent site in the middle of the wilderness with the best views all to ourselves. We brought our own food and enjoyed a BBQ, which was unforgettable. The staff came and did the work of making the fire with charcoal when we asked them to. The night was chilly when we stayed, but the tents blocked the outside air to some extent and there were hot water bottles for beds so we slept warm. Even though it was a tente, everything was clean and there were no breakdowns or glitches. The toilets, showers and kitchen were clean, everything worked and there was always enough hot water. Kevin, the owner, and his staff paid attention to detail. Communication was always prompt. The location is really in the mountains(bush), far from the city centre, so there are apparently inevitably power cuts depending on the weather. I was unlucky enough to face that too. However, I rather enjoyed my digital detox, not being bothered or worried as I knew both staff and guards were very close by. For the power needed for smartphones and other devices, the staff brought me a powerful LED lantern with power feed function many times. The tent sites had powerful Wi-Fi, but that stopped working when the power went out. The mobile communication network was weak at the site, but when needed, I was able to communicate on the 4G network by walking out into the open field 2-3 minutes away. The staff kindly accompanied for that.

The Elewana Tortilis Camp was in a beautiful setting and the staff pulled out all of the stops to make our stay memorable. From the morning coffee/tea and cookies at wake-up to the breakfast in the bush and sundowner on top of a hill with staff Masai teaching us about their culture, the staff outdid themselves. The guide knew exactly how to track the elusive cats so that we were able to see a lioness and her 5 cubs and a cheetah and her 5 cubs. Not to mention the herds of elephants and many giraffes! What an amazing sight! Peris, Chris, Jimma, Ben, Graeme and Sandy, as well as all of the other staff whose names I have sadly forgotten, made for a fantastic safari experience!

This spacious, fully-furnished tent opens onto a wooden patio. It contains a 4-poster bed with a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a claw-foot tub. De los mejores camps en los que estuvimos. El personal super amable (como en toda Kenia). Lo que tiene de hermoso este lugar es que podes salir a caminar por el lodge y hay muchos animales adentro. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — a perfect home away from home. The location is safe and ideal, situated right beside the national park fencing, where you can simply sit back and watch wild animals wander nearby — an unforgettable experience! The host was fantastic — always smiling, kind, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommended!

The view of Mount Kilimanjaro is absolutely beautiful and visible from all rooms. We were initially hesitant to book after reading a review mentioning a problem with late arrivals, but our experience was completely different. We arrived late, and everything went smoothly. No one tried to overcharge or scam us, they treated us very well throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
