Set on a mountain overlooking Vicuna. If you want tranquil this is for you.The view is stunning and my bedouin tent very comfortable. The owner Max was away during my stay but his amigo Gonzalo is a star! He made my two day stay memorable with stargazing at night , cooking and impromptu tours of the Elqui Valley.

We had an amazing time at Nati and Pato's place. We discovered it by chance on our way up north, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip in Chile. We loved it so much that we decided to spend an extra night there on our way back to Santiago. The serenity of the place, the beauty of the night sky (it is truly magnificent), and the warmth and kindness of Nati and Pato made our stay unforgettable. If you have the chance to stop by, we highly recommend this place – you won't be disappointed! PS: Google Maps will not show you the small street that leads up to the place. If you are coming from the main street, look for the wooden sign 'Viento Sur Astro' on the left side of the road.
