It's in a historic building, but the inside is thoroughly modern and renovated (and includes an elevator - first we'd encountered after half dozen other places on our Croatia trip). Our junior suite was spacious and comfortable, with lovely view over the square. Furnishings were all high quality. Breakfast buffet was nice, and included gluten-free bread for my celiac husband.
