Loved the whole experience during our stay at JW Marriott. From the moment we arrived, the welcome from the wonderful hotel staff, our room was made up for early check in, beautifully presented knowing it was our honeymoon with some delicious sweet treats on arrival to welcome us, everything was faultless! The hotel room, facilities, infinity pool, spa, food and drinks offering are all 10/10. Breakfast spread was unreal and the level of service was like nothing we have ever experienced before.

I had a truly wonderful stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The location was perfect as well, just a short and pleasant walk from the beach, which made it so convenient to enjoy the ocean whenever I wanted. One of the highlights for me was the food — it was absolutely exceptional. Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. What can we say about our stay? We were treated by all the staff as if we were their only guests. The service was wonderful, the food fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. John cooked me a different Indian breakfast every morning. We only ate dinner outside on 3 occasions during our stay as the fool was so good at MasionHaus. We would and will recommend it to everyone. We want to mention everyone who works there by name, as we felt like each one deserves recognition. Divanshu, and Arvind, who were brilliant in expanding our knowledge of India and organising our trips out. John’s team in the kitchen, Lalliansanga (great taste in music) Sambhav, Tejpratap and Ashok. When John wasn’t there they kept up his high standard and produced delicious food. Prema, who kept our room beautifully clean and what seemed like a never ending supply of towels. Last, but not least Milan, who kept us all safe, best wishes Milan for the new baby.

Not to forget the culinary chef Lokesh and Naveen . Chef Lokesh made some super dishes for us and also taught our daughter how to make pizza ! I am missing many names I’m sorry but believe me !! A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit. Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. The hotel was fabulous! The two rooms I stayed in were beautifully appointed and designed. Bathrooms were well styled also. The pool area was not huge but nicely set out. The gym, although small, was fitted out with enough equipment for a simple and effective workout. The restaurant and bar area was nice - the food was excellent. The highlight really was the quality and friendliness of the staff - they were wonderful and made my stay so, so comfortable. The complimentary car service to the beach and restaurants in town was super helpful!
