The hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming and we learned a lot about Polynesia. The bungalow is very spacious, including the bathroom, and there is a walk-in closet. The bed was very comfortable, and the communal kitchen was such a delight, they have great appliances. A lot of thought has gone into building this place, for example having a door that goes directly into the bathroom so that you don’t fill the main room with sand. The property is kayaks and we kayaked to the most pristine motu, where we saw baby sharks!! Incredible place.

La Maison Du Voyage is a recently renovated holiday home in Tevaitoa, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath and garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can use the hot tub and the spa facilities, or enjoy mountain views.

For guests with children, the holiday home provides kids pool and outdoor play equipment. Snorkelling, hiking and walking tours are possible within the area, and a water park is available on-site. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Fare Oviri Lodge is a recently renovated apartment in Opoa, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The rooms were excellent! The woodwork was amazing throughout the entire facility.

Set in Taputapuapea in the Raiatea region, Duplex en bord de mer Fare Tahitea Pension features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation was modern and spacious, with a lovely communal area perfect for relaxing. The location was fantastic — peaceful and well-situated, with the bonus of a small private beach. We really appreciated the use of the kayaks and bikes, as well as the convenient laundry service. Most of all, Tepairu was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. We’d love to come back again. Thank you for a fantastic stay, Tepairu!

Pension Irivai appartement PUATOU 1 chambre bord de mer is situated in Uturoa and offers a garden and a bar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment has a hot tub, outdoor pool and picnic area, and guests can grab a bite to eat in the restaurant. The property was beautiful and clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast for a fee which were amazing! We only stayed one night which was too short!

Anne and Luke were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were very well maintained and comfortable.

The holiday home has a public bath and a shared kitchen. "A Perfect Stay at Fare Mirimiri!" We had a wonderful stay at Fare Mirimiri. Perched on a hillside with breathtaking views, this guesthouse offers the perfect setting to relax and soak in the beauty of Raiatea. We arrived at the Apooiti Marina in Raiatea after a week of sailing, we were of course expecting to wait a few minutes, but Cathy, the owner, was already there to meet us. From the moment we got in the car, she made us feel very welcome. When we arrived at the guesthouse, we felt like we were in paradise. The house, surrounded by nature, is tucked away on a hill with breathtaking views. Every room offers a spectacular view. Cathy was simply amazing. Her kindness and generosity made our stay truly special. We arrived just before sunset, and I thought it would be nice to have an apero on the balcony and enjoy the view, but of course, we didn’t have anything to drink. I asked Cathy if we could perhaps buy a beer from her, but she didn’t think she had any. BUT a few minutes later she came back and gave us two beers. This is what I mean by generosity! The house was spotless and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a peaceful place with a welcoming atmosphere and stunning scenery, Fare Mirimiri is the ideal spot. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Fare Hanuatai is located in Tevaitoa. The property features sea and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Everything was perfect, I very recommend if you want privacy, island experience and not big box hotel. Wooden cottage with terrace is very new and tasteful, room is spacious and modern bathroom is huge. We were met with fruit basket on the table and bananas came directly from the plants in front of our terrace. We had a tour of owner's certified organic permaculture garden! Every afternoon we kayaked to the motu (free kayak provided) in front of our fare and spent hours until sunset snorkeling and just enjoying complete solitude on white sand beach. Can't beat that! Manutea is great host, he recommended wonderful local hike to the top of the mountain to replace closed Mount Taipoi trail and always was very attentive, but respectful. Car is needed to reach supermarket or restaurant, but that was a plus for us and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Bruno was absolutely fantastic. Such a happy and welcoming host. He drove me to the shop as soon as I arrived since I had to buy some food before it closed. The excursion he organised of the lagoon is the best one I have done in French Polynesia. The bed is also the best I had slept in during my month-long trip. The kitchen is big, clean and has all necessary instruments for cooking.
