Several have a wood-paneled ceiling and solid wood ceiling beams. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. We were staying for one night (not for the skiing) and there is absolutely nothing to complaint about. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, the view is great I guess (it was foggy :D), the town is small enough to go everywhere by walk and if you are here for the skiing, there is a bus exactly next to the hotel.

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi.

The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. Excellent location and great staff! Enjoyed our stay and totally worth it. Fantastic view from our room, sat down in the balcony to stare at Matterhorn for hours. Great spread of breakfast to start your day! If you are in Zermatt, this is the place you should stay!

Free WiFi is available in all areas. Easy walk from train station to hotel. Beautifully decorated lobby, luggage storage, large breakfast selection. Room had access to a deck. Clean and comfortable. Good water pressure. Free mini spa in basement.

We had a great dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. Parking was easy. Easy access to fabulous walks from the chair lift just up the road. Hotel is in a pretty little village with several other restaurants so there was choice. We didn't us the gym or sauna so cannot comment.
