We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Aikawa. The facilities are new and clean. The restaurant overlooked the pretty rice fields and it was very close to the restaurants in Sauraha. We were impressed by the staff who were all very helpful and professional. When we where there they were celebrating that they had aquired another star for their rating and we were invited to the celebrations where we had really good Nepali food. Overall we had an excellent stay and it was well worth the price.

The family who run this homestay are so kind and helpful, they organised us a great safari over 2 days and our bus tickets to Pokhara. They cooked us a lovely breakfast before our early starts both days. Room was comfortable, best mattress we’ve stayed on since leaving home a month ago! 5 min walk to river and main strip of restaurants

He will organize all types of Safari for you and on top never hesitates to overtake transportation or laundry jobs for you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything! especially the gardens it was like a paradise, full of the most colourful flowers I have seen and birdsong, lovely clean room with outside balcony looking straight into the garden, food was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for the owner Kumar who went out and got me a bottle shower gel free of charge and took me to the Safari pick up and my next hotel free of charge, an exceptional place run by an exceptional man.
