Had a great stay at Macedonian Village Hotel & Resort. Perfect place to relax and escape daily stress. The staff at reception were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a must visit since the grill and traditional dishes were amazing. Prices are fair and worth it. Big bonus is the free parking with plenty of space and no reservation needed. Definitely recommend! :)

Peaceful surroundings not far from the city centre. The apartment is large, everything inside seemed to be new. We could sit in the little garden. Parking is in the street but it is near and safe. We were very satisfied.

The hotel was in an excellent location, you could walk everywhere very easily, into to Skopje's city centre with easy access to restaurants, shops, bakeries, and easy walking distance to the Old Bazaar on the other side of the river. Right next to the hotel there is even a large shopping centre with many stores to choose from for clothes, groceries, and a pharmacy. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel had a lovely continental breakfast every morning for just €8 with a variety of foods to choose from. The hotel also has a great package which allows hotel guests to take a taxi to Matka Canyon for €50 - the taxi will drop you off and wait for 3 hours and take you back which is all included. My room at the hotel was lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was water and coffee in the room, there was also a flat screen TV (which I never used as I was too busy in the day, and too tired at night to watch).

This accommodation is in a really beautiful place. Very friendly and nice service staff. Good hiking trail near canyon. Bear in mind that it is possible to walk on this trail till the cave. About 4 km, but cave itself is on the other side of the lake. So if you wish to visit the cave take the boat trip instead. Although walking is also nice. In case you have mobility issues or small children with you, better to take boat trip.

The place in wonderful! The view from restaurant is so beautiful. I have never seen places like this! We also like the fact that there was kids menu with a little book to color and play for children + colored pencils. The hotel is old. From 1939. Old walls in the rooms are saved. That makes you feel like a traveller from the previous century :) The towels and bed sheets were clean.
