Our stay at the hotel was truly delightful! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere throughout our visit. The cuisine was superb, with delicious dishes that satisfied every palate. It's a wonderful place for families, offering a perfect blend of comfort and hospitality.

We had a most amazing stay here - the cloister is easy to reach by foot, there are many nice routes for hiking, the garden (with hammocks and hanging chairs) is beautiful, and offers so many seating spaces, and the breakfast as well as the dinner were really tasty! The host was very nice (we had to rely a bit on Google translate which worked very well) and we really liked the room. The village is small (no atm!) but has three small supermarkets/mini markets that offer coffee and ice cream, and many wells for fresh drinking water.

The hotel was great. Bit of a walk (25 min) to the bus stop but made some great dog friends on the walk. The room was really nice and cosy and they had an amazing sauna with a cold swimming pool - very nice to take a dip after the sauna. They very kindly let us store our luggage for a few hours after check out. Highly recommend!

I am really glad I came to stay here. It really makes sense to stay the night in Butuceni and enjoy a relaxed evening here. Vila Etnica has a great bar, is directly opposite a path to the monastery and has a wonderful restaurant with the best food I had in Moldova so far. It was lovely to be able to have dinner outside on a late summer afternoon, watch the late fading over the hills on my balcony, and wake up to birdsong for breakfast. The staff are great and really helped me with my transport questions.
