A historic and traditional Korean house is nestled in a quiet alley right by Namsan Station, seamlessly blending into the modern city. The location is incredibly convenient, just steps away from the subway. The owners, a warm and friendly elderly couple, speak English and are very responsive to messages on booking.com. They also check in on guests’ arrival times. The traditional ondol floor heating makes winter stays cozy, and the room is equipped with a refrigerator, hairdryer, and plenty of blankets. All in all, this was the most enjoyable accommodation during our two-week trip to Korea!

I had a wonderful experience at the Hound Hotel DaeGu, Daemyung. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The building itself is brand new, so everything was in excellent condition—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, public transport and attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. It’s a great choice for comfort, service, and values.

Very spacious, beautiful traditional korean furniture, the beds are nice and comfortable, the owner was really friendly, the Apartment is well equiped and located close to the subay lines, Cafés, Restaurants and conveniencw stores. The best local hotels we've ever stayed in Korea! We always try to stay in international hotel chains but tried this place this time. All the facilities were really new and clean but the most amazing part was the staff there. Every single staff we've met during our stay was incredibly helpful and had great hospitality. They spoke Japanese, English and even they don't, they were very helpful trying to use some translation apps, etc.. You can also find convenience stores and lots of great restaurants very close to the hotel. We also enjoyed our shopping at MODA which is a few minutes walk.

I stayed in 7 different accommodations during my trip to South Korea, and this was my favourite one! The apartment was beautiful (nicer than the photos), comfortable bed, washing machine (someone had kindly left detergent behind, so I didn't have to buy any) and a really cool Samsung wardrobe that dried my clothes. Everything I needed was provided. 5 of the accommodations I stayed in had a TV with the same generic LG remote that barely worked and was very annoying, but this was the first one with a proper remote that worked so well! Checking in and out was very easy to do with the kiosk. There was even a luggage storage area to use after check-out. I hope to return to Daegu, and will definitely book Mi Stay again!
