Cozy and fully equipped cottage with everything you need and much more as a bonus (whirlpool 38,5 °C, many eatables in the fridge, freezer and drowers... great place with lovely surroundings, river near by the house. We regreted we have had just a little time for enjoying that place. In the morning we have left it and came back before midnight.

The accommodation was great. If you are looking for absolute solitude and privacy, then this place is ideal. A well-lit house with a constant view of nature, a well-equipped kitchen. Most of South Iceland's attractions within driving distance for day trips. We enjoyed coming back to the cozy house every day. The owner is very nice and provided us with very helpfull detailed instructions for using the house that made our stay much easier and we were also allowed to use some of their food if we needed to (we came fully equiped with our own food and ingredients, so we didn´t need that, but there was this option which felt really nice). We fully recommend this accommodation, you will actually feel like at home and there is nothing you will not like about it.

The host put some attention to detail, especially in regards to wall hooks. The was an outside grill for cooking and the host came over to show us how to operate it.

I was immersed in nature and peace, the real Icelandic countryside, animals included. I had all I needed for my stay and enjoyed overnighting in a tiny house just for me. The location was perfect in order to have the right flexibility to drive to Golden Circle and Highlands based on the weather of the day. The owner welcomed me personally the day after my arrival and made sure that I was having a comfortable stay.

With far-reaching views towards Eyjafjallajökull, this guest house offers horse riding tours and homemade food. Selfoss is only 40 km away, and the iconic Gullfoss waterfall is only 52 km away.
