A very quaint and sensitively restored property housing the oldest continuously operating bookshop in Iceland with a suite of three rooms above sharing breakfast and bathroom facilities. The house is big and clean, American style. I extremely loves the vinyl records. The facilities in the kitchen is well-equipted and new too. I make a great dinner here. Kind owner.What's more, it is near to the beer factory bar. It is a good choice to have a beer with the family or friends at night !Wonderful stay.

Fantastic little house, exactly as described and pictured. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, warm, well furnished, high quality linens, really fantastic. Everything you need for your stay. It was fine for me, but to note, the bedroom is up some steep stairs (clearly shown in the pictures), and these could be too much for people with limited mobility. I loved the feeling of climbing into the loft to go to a very, very comfortable bed! I loved the location, fantastic for visiting the Westfjords and for Hornstrandir.
