Typical Irish hospitality, we pull into the large parking area to the owner actively hanging laundry to dry who stopped everything to welcome us, but last name no less (it's a small B&B and we were 4 of the rooms, but it was still a nice touch)! The rooms were ready, clean, and comfortable. The private bathrooms were a huge plus, too! The breakfast was phenomenal, I've had some Irish breakfasts that were less than par, but this one was certainly a true "Irish Breakfast." Overall would stay again and recommend to others!

We arrived on the early evening of New Year's Eve and having called basically every restaurant in town, and in the surrounds, we were resigned to having takeaway for dinner, as everything was fill. Then Mike, the owner's husband, made a quick call to friends and they squeezed us into their restaurant (and even gave us a discount). Fantastic! Geraldine and Mike were lovely - friendly and helpful. Easy parking right outside, and a very comfortable stay. The hotel is just over the river from the town, making it quiet, yet only about 2 minutes walk into the main street. Good breakfast in the morning, after which we had time to walk around town without pressure to check out.

House was beautiful, absolutely spotlessly clean and Marie was so welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. House is a short walk from town centre and beautiful views out over the water.

Food was amazing (bar, restaurant and breakfast). A good variety at breakfast buffet and a chef to make extra stuff request. Dinner at the restaurant was also very good. Food tasted brilliant and great service. Place had a reasobably large grounds to explore. Car is better to explore nearby areas. The lough nearby was good (saw some people kayaking there) but not sure if we could have taken a boat there.
