The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. The location was superb, a great base for exploring beautiful West Cork. We went sea swimming every day and we were delighted that there was a space to rinse our gear and a covered washing line outside for drying in all weather. Also, Kara, our host, left us flowers, a bottle of wine and some chocolates on arrival, thank you so much for this unexpected surprise!

It was such a lovely stay! The place is beautiful, in a great and peaceful position! The view from the room window was so relaxing! Breakfast was amazing and they cooked for us exactly what we wanted! The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The common area so cozy, and the garden outside has also a small sauna! They were so kind and stored our bikes in their garage. Amazing stay!

Everything. This was the perfect place in such a great part of the world. The village of Durrus is a gem. Excellent facilities in the property and beautiful views.

This was one of the most unforgettable stays we’ve ever had. The location is simply perfect for anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and breathtaking scenery. Far from city noise, it’s an ideal place to rest, recharge, and enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, including magical sunrises and sunsets right from the property. The hosts were beyond wonderful — incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and caring. Their warm hospitality touched our hearts, and it was clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. The beds were extremely comfortable, with top-quality bedding, and every detail in the house was perfectly thought out and well-organized. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which was a lovely touch in the morning. Majella and Pat were so welcoming, and the house was absolutely perfect, so comfortable and warm and such lovely added details, like some homemade brown bread and porridge oats, milk, butter and jam in the fridge. We loved meeting the lovely dogs Millie and Bella! I would highly recommend this cottage to stay in for a peaceful break from the city, with really kind and welcoming hosts.
