The owner Katelijne is a great source of information. The food was great and we liked that we all ate together at one big table so we got to know one another. At Casa Cavoquinho we were hosted by Belén and her staff. One of her principles says that everyone who is there is Family. We left, feeling like departing from our new family. Excellent place to stay as if you are in paradise. We were in the top room, with a breathtaking view! Belén and Jose made Casa Cavoquinho a sustainable place surrounded by nature. Where do I stop? Great place to use as a base for doing hikes etc. The room was very large with a large balcony overlooking the street (not the ocean), which was fun because you could see kids playing and locals gathering in the streets. Friendly, family vibe with the staff, owners, pets and other guests. The vibe is a bit like that of a backpackers' hostel except that you get your own room.
