Carlos and Werner have created the most amazing experience. Their home is just so comfortable and has everything you need. Carlos’ cooking is fantastic! If you’re lucky enough to have the Deutsch pancake you’ll love it. Werner was so good with the tours and really took the time to make sure I had the best experience, suggesting options that weren’t on my radar but were fantastic. We felt like home! A place, where we found new energy and positive spirit. Super comfortable and also very well designed. Away from the rush of La Fortuna, but a short ride. Beautiful countryside. If you are a nature lover as we are, you can spot a big colony of montezuma birds right from your window (not noisy). Mountain view from the terase. Super helpful and friendly owners. We didnt want to ever leave.

beautiful garden, wonderful hosts, great street with restaurants along the road and German bakery next door! Marita was so helpful and even did a family wash and dry for me with a very quick turnaround!

One of the best hotels during our 2-week trip in Costa Rica. The room was spacious. The view was just phenomenal (at least on the first day because the rest of the stay was unfortunately cloudy). The pool and the hot tubes were also great. The hotel food was definitely the best during our trip - highly recommended having dinner there.

Rooms were great for the price, basic in some ways, but the mattresses are super comfy, I even asked for the brand and design it was that good as I am in the market for a new 1. Breakfast was good as well, take out coffee for no extra price. Location is lovely right next to the lake.

This complex is very impressive. It is surrounded by nature and we've seen many animals on the property: coatis, monkeys, snakes, frogs and lost of big birds. There is a pool and jacuzzi. We had breakfast admiring the volcano and watching "National Geografic" unfolding live in front of our eyes. I think this is the closest you can get to "living in paradise".
