- location is really good for Gmunden itself, but also for visiting Salzburg and Linz - apartment is new, modern and really big - perfect for 5 people - the host was really helpful with the check in process - kitchen is quite well equipped, we were only missing a wine opener :)

Gmundnerberghaus is amazing! We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Room was very nice, clean and very quiet. I liked that we received the code in the sms so getting into the parking lot and room was very easy without the need to contact anyone. Bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed.

Philipp was a very kind host. The apartment was cozy and comfortable. For four people there was enough of everything. From the apartment there is a nice view at the Marktplatz square. It is also very quiet and calm. The surroundings is really nice.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. Literally everything read great!! The breakfast, our room, the view!! We looved our stay and we want to cover back in the summer? It will be great as well we guess!
