The staff from the entrance and from the reception were extremely polite and friendly. They helped us a lot with booking various one day trips. At one point there was a small issue with the air conditioner in our room but they promptly resolved it.

This hotel plays a part in why I had such a god experience in Hanoi overall. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible, without being pushy. The room was a good size and had the accommodations that I wanted (mini fridge, kettle, desk, small and big mirror). House keeping was everyday and it was wonderful always getting in to a made bed. The breakfast was great and I the passion fruits were the best ones I have EVER had (like in my life). Would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Hanoi. Great location and service for a great price. Thank you for everything!

I have booked this hotel several times but this is my very first stay near Christmas and New Year time, which is amazing. I mean there is nothing to complain about La Cascada staff and services, but this time I could literally soak up the festive atmosphere. From Hang Ma Street to the local market on the way to this hotel, local people put up so many decorative stuff for sale, and also for decoration, I guess. The whole street looked really amazing and I could immerse myself in the vibrant vibe there, which is truly the highlight of my stay. About the room I booked, the one with a railway view, which could be a bit noisy as my first thought. However, to my surprise, the noise-cancelation window worked very well, as I could barely notice a noise from outside, All in all, my stay at La Cascadea was worth every penny, and I would definitely come back here.

- The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice map of Hanoi with an overview of recommended restaurants and attractions. - I recommend booking your Ninh Binh/Halong Bay/Sapa valley excursions through the hotel. The hotel can get much better rates on the excursions than anything I could find online. If you book a multi-day tour with them, they will also provide you an airport transfer free of charge! - The room was comfortable and clean! - The breakfast is nice with many options to choose from. - The location of the hotel is just perfect! It’s very close to the lake and many good restaurants nearby. - The street was blocked for cars (not sure if this is always the case or only on weekends), making it relatively “calm” compared to some of the other extremely hectic streets in the Old Quarter
