Paradise. It embodies Japanese refinement with special attention to the smallest details. The room was beautiful , comfortable and having our own private onsen was a big plus. Hidaji was a very special and unforgettable experience, 100% worth it. We felt very pampered with my husband and the food was amazing, we ate like kings! There is lots to do around for nature lovers but you can also easily just stay in and enjoy the amenities and each other. We had a lot of privacy and felt as though we were alone most of the time even though the place was fully booked.

Rustic feels which transported us back in time. The staff were friendly and explained everything well. There are several locations for the onsens, and we enjoyed the ones next to the river best. Food was good generally, and we sat round the fire. The rooms were on the warm side.
