Everything about Il San Pietro di Positano is exceptional – from the warm, personalised experience provided by the staff to the stunning amenities that make every moment unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and valued; the General Manager greeted us personally, we were offered complimentary drinks, and enjoyed a wonderful tour of the hotel. Our room was beautifully appointed, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, breathtaking views from our balcony, and exquisite finishes throughout. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Breakfast at Il San Pietro was a dream. The buffet offered an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality options, with something for every taste. From pastries and fruit to local delicacies, everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We especially loved the personalised touch – anything we requested, from perfectly poached eggs to delicate crepes and excellent espressos, was made on the spot. It was the ideal way to start each day, with fresh, varied options and stunning views to match. A standout highlight of our stay was the complimentary boat ride to Amalfi, where we enjoyed a picturesque swim in crystal-clear waters. The hotel’s amenities are equally outstanding, from the scenic outdoor gym and tennis court with a view to the exclusive beach club nestled against the cliffs – each detail truly exceptional. Every aspect of our experience at Il San Pietro was curated to perfection, seamlessly blending luxury with genuine hospitality. From the world-class service to the awe-inspiring setting, this was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience of our lives. We left feeling rejuvenated, pampered, and already planning our return. Honestly, this is the kind of hotel that makes it hard to even want to explore anything outside of it. Il San Pietro is a true gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Welcomed on arrival, room had amazing view towards Positano, very clean with all toiletries etc provided. Cannot fault the location, staff very helpful.

Great rooms, very comfortable for family of four. excellent cleaning service, very good air conditioning in rooms, balcony to dry clothes if needed. Good breakfast with fantastic view, loved the pool and everyone was very polite. if you rent a car they have free valet services.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful countryside property as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). We were looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to town—and this spot was exactly what we hoped for. Just a 10-minute drive from Sorrento center, it gave us the perfect balance of peace and convenience. The property is family-owned and you can really feel the care and love they put into it. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. The garden is simply stunning—full of vibrant flowers, lemon and orange trees, which added to the charm and made it feel like a little paradise. Even though it was mid-April and technically not swimming season yet, the owner kindly let our kids enjoy the pool, which made their trip even more special. Everything in the house was brand new, modern, and super clean. You can tell that the family looks after the property with great attention to detail. The price was very affordable for what we got, and overall, we couldn’t be happier. There’s honestly nothing bad to say—we’d happily come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay near Sorrento.

Anna and her family are the best hosts ever! Extremely high service level. Old style rooms but very comfortable and clean. Super breakfast and on top of that she gives you lunch to take with you!

The hostel was charming and comfortable, with an amazing view and great food. Alessandro at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful when I was settling in, and the lady on staff was also very kind and attentive. The place was always spotless and well-kept, the beds were cozy, and the facilities were very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend it!
