Este hotel de diseño ocupa una casa de campo tradicional reformada y ubicada sobre un acantilado con vistas al océano Atlántico en Ponta do Sol, en la costa sur de Madeira. Es un hotel increíble en una situación privilegiada. El jacuzzi con vistas al mar es una preciosidad. Nos dieron una habitación muy bonita ya que era nuestro aniversario y se acordaron del día exacto, lo que fue un increíble detalle. La persona de recepción que nos hizo el check-in fue encantadora en todo momento y muy profesional, siempre con una sonrisa en la boca. El desayuno era fantástico cón cava y música amenizando que eso es súper importante. Además la persona encargada de los desayunos, una mujer que pareciera responsable, también destacaba por su amabilidad y profesionalidad y eficacia. En general todo el servicio es maravilloso. Ha sido una estancia genial y se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo si va a Madeira. La zona es la mejor porque siempre está soleada a pesar de que en el resto de la isla este la lluvia. Además está cerca de todo lo que hay que ver Por último queremos recomendar los masajes. siempre que viajamos y hay posibilidad nos damos un masaje, y estos han sido de los mejores que nos hemos dado en la vida.

El Castanheiro Boutique Hotel ofrece una pileta al aire libre y un centro de spa y se encuentra en Funchal, a 500 metros del puerto deportivo de Funchal. Excellent service from the moment you enter the hotel. All staff extremely friendly. Nice rooftop pool and bar/lounge. Rooms have everything you need. Left before breakfast but got a breakfast box that had more food than I could eat. Free spa admission with a steam room and Turkish bath complimentary. Nice restaurant and ambiance throughout the hotel. Highly recommended.

El Aqua Natura Madeira tiene 4 estrellas y ofrece habitaciones elegantes con vistas al océano Atlántico en la localidad pesquera de Porto Moniz, a 45 km al norte del centro de Funchal. Tiene sauna. It's just an incredible place! I will be honest, the hotel looks very simple, but as soon as we entered our room we were enamoured and enchanted! We had a balcony overlooking the ocean which was incredibly close, we had the opportunity to not only watch the raging waves but also listen to the sound of the ocean all night long! We purposely left the balcony open at night, if you close it the konata would be quiet. The konata is great! The bed is incredibly large and comfortable, we were greeted with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine which was very nice. The room had a nice bathroom with everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was good. The breakfast, not a big buffet, had everything we needed. I had boiled eggs at my request and the staff were polite. On my birthday they brought me a cake with a candle. The view from the restaurant was also unforgettable on the ocean.

I spent 5 wonderful days in the hotel with 2 kids. We all liked a lot breakfasts , where we found different meal on our taste! Our appartment was really big with 2 rooms, super clean and nice with evetything needed inside! First few days it was windy, so we used to go to the inside swimming pool with jacuzzi and saunas. My kids loved this time-spending and it was very relaxed for me as well: after all day walking to swim in warm water and to get rest. The area with outside swimming pool looks much better and bigger than on the photos and it has a wonderdull views for the ocean and nature around! Very beautiful beach wit rocks is in 5 minutes walking from the hotel!

Nearly everything, really. Nice hotel, nice room, nice people working there, nice breakfast, nice parking, nice patio. I feel that it's worth every dime paid. This was the first and the only case when I truly enjoyed the conversation with a person at the reception who turned out to be a true erudite who is into history and geography.
