The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes.

It features an outdoor pool with solarium and sun loungers. Very friendly staff and owner, great breakfast and homemade dinners. The house overall is amazing, its very pleasant to stay there. Rooms are spacious with fully functional kitchens, if you want to cook by yourself. There are also garden with benches and a pool with a good view on the ocean.

Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Excellent service from the moment you enter the hotel. All staff extremely friendly. Nice rooftop pool and bar/lounge. Rooms have everything you need. Left before breakfast but got a breakfast box that had more food than I could eat. Free spa admission with a steam room and Turkish bath complimentary. Nice restaurant and ambiance throughout the hotel. Highly recommended.

The Hibiscus à la carte restaurant features a Mediterranean menu and local dishes in a dining room with stunning sea views. The outdoor terrace provides spectacular views of sunsets or leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun. Guests can also eat outdoors by the pool. The property was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the balcony and view. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
