Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. The breakfast was amazing with fresh local fruit and specialties. The staff was very kind and understanding (especially in light of our late arrival). The location is in the middle of GeorgeTown (and could not be more centrally located with nearby attractions all within walking distance). There's even a decent sized grocery store across the street if needed. The interior of the hotel is a renovated historic shop/warehouse and is full of charm. Highly recommended.

Other guests were quiet and generally kept to themselves but also were very kind in the brief interactions I had. If you love cats I highly recommend :)

Clove 1+2 provided ample, comfortable spaces for our party of three. The decor in the common area was incredibly cute. Every time we walked through, I found another interesting thing to look at. The location is within walking distance to all that Georgetown offers, though it still feels tucked away. The staff were professional and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. We loved it so much, we came back and booked an extra night after staying at another hotel.

The location is perfect, just steps from Chulia Street, Blue Mansion, and Armenian Street, making it so easy to explore Penang’s vibrant street art and food scene, yet it’s surprisingly peaceful. The staff who took care of us were incredibly warm and helpful, sharing great local tips. Highly recommend for a memorable Penang stay!

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They know well about the sightseeing places around there and gave us useful advices of our trip. And the interiors of the room were amazing! We took a lot of photos in the room. It was like a film set.
