An excellent hotel with old-school colonial vibe, clean and crisp, brilliantly located in the midst of the old town for walking about. Great food. Attentive to needs and unexpected extras throughout our stay.

Everything you need is within walking distance from the house. The house itself and the surrounding area are very tidy , beautiful and clean. The owner, his family, and the assistant are friendly and pleasant people. There are tables and chairs on the premises, perfect for relaxing. There's also a shared living room where we had interesting conversations with the owner. Additionally, we were taught how to cook jackfruit and banana flower. After cooking, we enjoyed a communal dinner. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything necessary provided. It’s convenient for both short stays and longer-term visits. Thank you for the hospitality. We highly recommend this place for staying in Hikkaduwa!

We had so nice time with wife in this Vila. Stuff very friendly. We became a friends, last evening we went to ABBA concert together. We felt like we at home. Also, we had so delicious breakfast and dinner!!! Thank you and recommend to come here! 5 Stars for sure!

The room was super spacious with high ceilings, making it feel airy and bright. The bathroom was also large and very functional. But it’s not just the room—the entire building was spotless! We even had our own rooftop with an incredible view. We stayed for five days and never even left the Fort area—everything, from top-class restaurants to cozy cafés, was within walking distance, so we didn’t need a tuk-tuk at all. The people were amazing—always kind and smiling. Next time we visit, we won’t even look for another place; we’ll definitely stay here again. 100% recommended!

Sri Lanka Dunes Unwatuna es un hotel boutique respetuoso con el medio ambiente cerca de la hermosa playa de Unawatuna (100 metros / 5 minutos a pie). Increíble lugar!! Súper tranquilo, la ubicación es perfecta , la construcción del lugar wow. Te sientes en un lugar muy tradicional . No duden en reservar. La comida también muy buena y el servicio de atención y limpieza increíble y pude ver un par de monos sobre el árbol y bajando

El Roman Beach está ubicado en la playa de Hikkaduwa y cuenta con una zona de playa privada. Ofrece habitaciones amplias con aire acondicionado, conexión Wi-Fi gratuita, techos altos y vistas al mar. Beautifully set boutique hotel, very peaceful in an otherwise busy touristy town. Great architecture and style, super high ceilings, great and airy rooms with direct sea view. The team truly went above and beyond to cater to all our needs which was truly amazing and I could not commend them higher. I wish we had stayed here longer.
