Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. Amazing location! If the weather allows it, you have a perfect view of Mt. Fuji-san! The staff were amazing, really helpful and even assisted us with ordering food from outside, as we arrived quite late. Also the room had an amazing balcony view of the lake & mountains. The private open air bath was also really great!

It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. fantastic onsenji hotel! the staffs are very friendly and helpful. the location is also very nice,which is walkable , as well as the bus station is upon it. hotel also provides pick-up and drop-off services to the kawaguchiko station. the amazing free breakfast and valuable dinner . onsenji is awesome!

A 7-minute walk from Lake Kawaguchi, the 2-person cottages at Ururun have a quaint European charm and offer a spa bath with Mount Fuji views. Sleeping arrangements are Japanese-style, with futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free. That's an amazing place to stay near Kawaguchiko and away from the crowds. The host is extremely welcoming, responsive and helpful. The house is comfortable, and the view of Fujisan is awesome. BBQ is available upon request and we enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to staying here again!

So incredibly nice and helpful, amazing hospitality, probably the part we miss the most in this hotel. Really spacious room (we got a twin room) with the most amazing view of Mt Fuji. Great breakfast as well, and a beautiful location just near the lake. A couple mins away from a bus station and about 15 min walk from kawaguchiko station. Provides shuttles to and from the station!

Kawaguchiko Station Inn is a 1-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station and a 7-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Lake in the Mount Fuji area. It offers a public bath, a Japanese restaurant and free WiFi access. We liked everything about Kawaguchiko Station Inn and hopefully, we will be back one day! The owner/main receptionist was the best, provided us with a hose for cleaning our shoes after a very rainy hike as well as pointed us to where the washing machine was. Apart from that the rooms are so authentic and feel so nice to have a change from nice hotels in Tokyo. There was a matcha tea set in the room as well as super nicely fitting robes in the room for the gender-separated spas upstairs. The location is superb in front of the train station or buses for Mt. Fuji hike. The beds we made ourselves were very comfy.
