Featuring a large Japanese garden and natural hot-spring baths, Nanten-En Ryokan offers traditional luxury in a beautiful natural setting. The air-conditioned rooms have tatami flooring and Japanese-style futon beds. Amazing traditional ryokan with a beautiful garden and super caring staff. Very goos kaiseki dinner and traditional breakfats were very tasty and plentiful. It has hot mineral water source onsen (traditional male/female room separation) and it is open practically 24 hours! So you can go there really at any time you like, even at night, and relax. It almost never happened to us that there were more than 3 people at once and you get to enjoy the beautiful garden view from the onsen all by yourself. The garden is very well cared for and has a careful selection of flowers/trees that make the place photohenic from absolutely every angle. We visited at spring and it was full of roses and cherry blossoms. The rooms overlook the garden it's just really breathtaking.

Video-on-demand services are available at a charge. Free bath amenities including tooth brushes, towels, shampoo, body wash and hair conditioners are provided. The hotel is quite simply amazing. Staff went above and beyond to help me, they were so so so kind! And they even arranged a Yamato airport luggage shuttle for me and my wife. Rooms are comfy, modern and spacious. Hotel offers normal amenities plus a microwave, vending machine and ice machine in several rooms. Located literally next to a metro station with exclusive access from underground. Great executive hotel suitable for couples, too! Would stay again!

Offering direct access to JR Shin Osaka Train Station, Remm Shin-Osaka offers modern contemporary rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with video-on-demand. Guests can also relax on the massage chairs provided in each room. Was initially worried about the room size after reading some of the reviews, but two above- average sized westerners and two big suitcases fitted comfortably in the room, although we took it in turns to open our suitcases when needed. The room was stylish and comfortable and the bathroom was a good size for Japan and the shower was great. The massage chair was a nice addition too! Check-in was seamless and amenities were available in the reception area. The best bit, though, was the location- it was just perfect for what we wanted. We chose this hotel because we intended to go on lots of day trips using our JR passes and it was just perfect, really well connected to places in Osaka as well as Kyoto and Hiroshima. It was amazing coming back to Shin- Osaka station after a long day of travel and being able to get back to our room within 5 mins! There are lots of Japanese food options around on the lower levels of the station and also things like coffee shops, a McDonald's, convenience stores, and an Uncle Rikuro's jiggly cheesecake stall which was a delightful surprise! The hotel was also easier to find than we thought it'd be- look out for the signs for the Shinkansen and head towards that. Near the Shinkansen ticket offices and machines look out for McDonalds, a vietnamese restaurant and Tully's. The hotel is to the right of those places.
