由布の里 旅荘 牧場の家 Ryoso Makibanoie offers spacious Japanese-style cottages with Mount Yufu views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas and in all guest rooms. The ambiance of being in a small village. So peaceful and quaint. Like that there is both private and public bath.

Right on Beppu Bay, Umino Hotel Hajime offers public hot spring baths and free WiFi. Rooms feature a traditional Japanese decor and a private bathroom with hot spring water. We got the room with a private onsen bath and it was super spacious and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The sea view was stunning and we got to see the sunrise, which was incredibly beautiful. The breakfast was balanced and big, but almost too big for us as we kind of had to stuff ourselves to finish everything. All in all, I can highly recommend this place!

Nishitetsu Resort Inn Beppu boasts a spacious public bathing area including natural hot spring baths and open-air baths. It is just a 10-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. Great onsen pools at the hotel. Nice breakfast.
