Access to ski is a bit far , we will need taxi to get around.

Some hot spring baths can be rented for private use. The property is a 15-minute bus ride from JR Matsumoto Station, and a 10-minute bus ride to the national treasure, Matsumoto Castle. Free parking is available. Izumiya Zenbe is LOVELY - I don't think the photos do it justice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The building was an amazing old structure with beautiful little gardens in the walkways. The room we had was very nice, with tatami mats and futon beds. We loved the tea set and the little table with the heater underneath...! We also booked the breakfast and dinner service, and we are very glad we did. The private dining spaces and kaiseki experience was awesome. As was cruising around the ryokan in our yukata robes. We only used the barrel bath, rather than the rotenburo, but it was so good (although very hot!). A very relaxing place, we would happily stay here again.
