Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. We were lucky to arrive on a day when Fuji was visible. The room was amazing and spacious, and the view from the balcony of Fuji and lake Kawaguchi was incredible! The onsen is a must! Super clean and quiet and relaxing hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted us with an urgent matter we had. Will definitely stay here again!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The stay was special from start to finish. The staff were so warm & welcoming. We stayed in the Executive Suite with open air bath & it was stunning, also with a private garden. We had the Kaiseki meal in a private dining room & it was simply amazing, so much preparation, care & attention, truly beautiful presentation of food & very tasty. Although Mount Fuji was in cloud, it did not spoil our experience, it was worth it for our visit to Fuji Onsenji Yumedono alone.

Sleeping arrangements are Japanese-style, with futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free. The atmosphere of this small village tucked away in the mountains is truly unique. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind — she lent us bicycles for a short ride and recommended a lovely little restaurant that was delicious. When we left, she even drove us to Kawaguchiko Station. Everything was perfect; we’ll definitely come back.

Kawaguchiko Station Inn is a 1-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station and a 7-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Lake in the Mount Fuji area. It offers a public bath, a Japanese restaurant and free WiFi access. The inn is just in front of the Kawaguchiko Station. I love the japanese room and the public bathroom with onsen. The receptionist (senior adult male) was very good in English. After check out, the good Sir accommodated our request to safekeep our luggage until late afternoon. We also left some gadgets inside the room which the staff sorted and released to us upon claiming of our luggage.
Great location on scenic street and near restaurants and bars Nice interior design Kind staff
The owner of the accoms put a lot of thought into the decor and interior design of the villa. Facilities were quite comprehensive, there's even a TV in the bathroom with bathtub, location was great
Lovely design of property. Had a view of Mount Fuji from our room which we woke up to. Clean. Amenities provided. Nice outdoor area also. About 10 minutes walk from Lake Kawaguchiko station so not far at all - walk is not difficult but just to be aware.
Love the design and interior of the venue, very clean. The bar & cafe is very stylish, guests can use the lounge and dinning area afterhours. Has indoor and outdoor sitting. Staff are very friendly. Has a small parking area. Full view of Mt Fuji at the door step.
The view was stunning, we had a lake view room and it was gorgeous. The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were super friendly. There was also a private onsen, which was a really lovely experience, if you wanted something a bit more private and personal.
This hotel is gorgeous! And has stunning views right of Mt. Fuji - unfortunately we only stayed one night and wasn’t very visible in the morning however it cleared up during the day as we explored the town and I can only imagine the view you’d actually have if it was clear during your stay. It’s only a short walk from the station and a few near by restaurants. The rooms are quite big - biggest ones we’ve stayed in while travelling Japan. Staff are lovely and check in and out is very easy.
One of my favourite stays during a month in Japan. Definitely more of a boutique guest house than a hostel. Beautiful design and very comfortable rooms. Lovely communal space with nice teas available and the sister cafe (where you have the breakfast) was a highlight of my entire trip ( I went 3 times in less than 24 hourse). Location was amazing and I LOVED Fujiyoshida as a little town. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone looking to stay near Fuji. Easy walk to Churieto Pagoda, recommend going for sunrise.
The house' exterior and interior design are brilliant. Everything I need are available. Cooking stuff is more than adequate. The staff is very friendly. Good for short-term stay.
Stunning views of Fuji-San. Lovely boutique hotel. The private open bath was memorable with hot water, stunning views and sparkling wine! Good bar, friendly bartender and ambience!
