Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. We were lucky to arrive on a day when Fuji was visible. The room was amazing and spacious, and the view from the balcony of Fuji and lake Kawaguchi was incredible! The onsen is a must! Super clean and quiet and relaxing hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted us with an urgent matter we had. Will definitely stay here again!

Our rooms are designed with traditional Japanese aesthetics, featuring tatami mat flooring throughout. For those who prefer a futon on tatami or a bed, we also offer Japanese-Western style rooms. The warm ambiance is further enhanced by local artists' paintings adorning the walls. The lodging was excellent with the ultimate Japanese experience. The room had every immensity possible and the bed was really comfortable. We would differently stay here again.

Every time we came back to the hotel we were greeted with an enthusiastic welcome back and ushered into the warmth and comfort of the reception area. Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully presented. The hotel also arranged for our luggage to be sent to our next destination which was extremely helpful as it meant we didn’t have to worry about storage lockers during our visit to nearby Shirakawa-go. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we’d be beyond delighted to come back.

Property is in the town but for a luxury japenese experience this place is unparalleled.This super luxurious property is in the town so be aware of that . But it’s an oasis worth visiting . Escape to a world of its own . We booked a loft view room with spectacular views of Mount Fuji . The staff are amazing . Breakfast is an experience and even though we are Halaal and required a vegetarian breakfast it was no issue
