I liked the staff, they were very friendly and helpful, the look of the place, very beatifuly authentic with a big pool in an olive garden. On top was a very tasty breakfast and very good wines from their own batch. Highly recommend it and will certainly come back when I'll visit the area again!

Drogheria Franci offers 9 boutique rooms all differently decorated, a private Villa and an apartment in the heart of Montalcino. Amazing staff - they are the ones who also serve breakfast at the restaurant (wonderful ladies and breakfast was great). Apartment is as advertised - spacious and well stocked. There was an issue with water leaking out the shower that they helped to fix but I think that is just european bathrooms in general. The place is spacious, clean and most areas were renovated. Housekeeping comes daily and replenishes toiletries. 2 of the 3 bedrooms were very nice - the 3rd one with the cot was slightly lacklustre than the rest of the apartment but still clean and functional. Location was also great.

We were a bit surprised at first, but it gave us a chance to walk around the city. The building where we were was fabulously decorated. The breakfast was fantastic.

I arrived after a long day of walking in the Via Francigena with nothing to eat (restaurant next door closed for holidays) so the Signora offered me whatever I wanted from the breakfast buffet food. The bed was comfortable and totally quiet. I really had a great night. Breakfast was more like Brunch, Signora made me scrambled eggs and pancakes plus juice, pastries, cakes, meat, cheese and good coffee. High recommend and only a 10 minute walk back to the VF path to Gallina/Radicofani.
