The whole property is so well cared for, and the staff clearly take great pride in what they do. We enjoyed the food, the massages, the cool pool, the excellent air conditioning, and the complimentary toiletries (including sun cream, after sun, mosquito repellent, toothbrushes). The gardens are beautifully maintained, and create such a lovely vibe. It’s a fun place with children (sleeping on the mezzanine was a big highlight for my children!). Sanur can be hectic, but coming back here after a shopping trip was like returning to a serene slice of heaven!

The villa was in a very quiet location but only a short walk to beach and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly. Own pool area was very private and kept in good condition. The outside shower was a big bonus.Comfortable bed and sufficient storage areas.

El Peneeda View Beach Hotel se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de la ciudad de Denpasar, en las blancas arenas de la playa de Sanur. We loved the Balinese style hotel, it's a bit dated compared to the high end resorts it's sandwiched between, but adds to the charm! If you don't want to be in a resort but want to be directly on the beach, then this is your place! Yes there are cheaper places on the main road but they don't have beach access. We were travelling with children and in the end were so happy we paid extra to be on the beach as you have to walk around the resorts to find beach access - no problem if you're a grown adult but 10 minutes in the heat with littles is challenging! We loved all the pool areas and there were lots of nice spaces to hang out, which was great when it was too hot sunny or heavy rain and you didn't want to be in your room. We stayed in the family room with garden view and there was plenty of room for us and our luggage as well as cot and pram! We heard some negative things about the food so we didn't try it until the second last day and we were really pleasantly surprised - it's basic but good if you want Asian food - we didn't try the western food! The refillable water station was a great touch too - we would definitely recommend it here! We would also recommend White Orchid for eating - nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food at a reasonable price for the area!
